Do you think electric cars are less polluting then regular cars. Think again.
The electric car has not come of age, because more than half of the electricity in this country (USA) is currently generated with coal – the dirtiest of fossil fuels.

Ten years later – we may be asking the same question. Again.

Yes, thats true. Every kind of car will harm nature, either way.

What if USA generates electricity using wave & wind energy? Electric cars would certainly reduce CO2 & help reduce global warming.

While I agree that electricity generated at a coal plant is still dirty electricity, it’s a much better solution than having a zillion ICE cars n othe road – at least with the electric car, the energy consumers (the cars) can be charged from a variety of energy sources. Those sources will slowly become more ande more clean as technology evolves. With a gas-burner, you have no choise of where to get your power – even if you’re standing in front of a wind turbine, you’re stuck burning gasoline. Electric cars give us options and a upward path to improvment. Gas cars just give us more emmissions.
